PAPERS NEED TO PREPARE BY JAPANESE HUSBAND/WIFE
•KAISYA NO ZAISYOKU SYOUMEISYO (Work Contract or Certificate)
Makukuha sa company where your husband/wife is working.

•SYOTOKU SYOUMEISYO (Income Tax Certificate)
Makukuha sa city hall office.

•KOSEKI TOHON (Family Registration Document)
Makukuha sa city hall office.

•JUUMINHYOU (Residential Certificate)
Makukuha sa city hall office.

•INKAN OR HANKO (Seal)
Gamit ng asawa mo when signing some papers.

•MIMOTO HOSYOUSYO (Guarantee Letter)
Downloadable ang format na ito sa homepage ng immigration.

•ZAIRYUU SHIKAKU KOUSHIN SHINSEISYO (Extension of Visa Application Form)

PAPERS NEED TO PREPARE BY FILIPINO
•RYOKEN (Passport)

•GAIKOKUJIN TOUROKUSYO (Alien Registration Card)

Better to download the APPLICATION FORM and the GUARANTEE LETTER and fill-up it before going to the immigration. Meron mga sample documents din on how to fill-up it. Para di na kayo magsulat don dahil it will take time. Pagdating nyo sa immigration is kuha lang kayo ng number then wait for your number to be call.

On your application of it, wala kang babayaran at first. After submitting the necessary documents, pwede ka ng umuwi and just wait for the HAGAKI or post card na manggagaling sa immigration. Kapag dumating na ang letter na yon, go back to the immigration to get the result. This is the time that you must pay about 4,000 YEN kung naaprobahan ang application mo. Sa application form, meron part don kung ilang taon ang gusto mong i-extend. You can put 1 or 3 years if you like. Pero ang ibinibigay na extension now is kadalasan one (1) year. Lucky ka na pag nabigyan ka ng three (3) years extension.

I think I have the downloadble application form found here . Now I have to find the guarantee letter form…I’m looking for it right now..I’ll be updating this post later…

I'm kind of a laid-back person and I dont really believe in getting things the hard way. I mean if there's a better or easier way to get things done, why go through all the hoops?

I find it hard to trust people, that's why I end up doing things all by myself and it is really exhausting. I hate this about myself.
