Takadanobaba Eki

April 25, 2009

I went to takadanobaba station and met with the NGO of asm group to assist me in my job interview (caregiving/homehelper9 one of the Homes located there (sorry i forgot what the place was called LOL!).

This is my first time travelling alone, well not really, I’ve taken the densha (train) before but that was like 6 years ago and it was in the province, I also had norikaes but like I said it was a small train station and it wasnt much of a challenge, scary yes but not that challenging…haha….yesterday was diffrent cause it involved me riding a bus LOL. I havent taken the bus this whole time (in japan). The 1st pic is the bus schedule near the place I stay,  Shobosho no Mae (in front of the firestation). I took the 11:13am bus headed to Kashiwa Eki. Since it was my first time, I really had no idea how it works, i mean how to pay >,< I let the 2 ladies in first thinking I’ll have an idea; but damn they had bus passes (pre-paid bus cards), they just slipped their cards in the machine and sat. HUwaaaa, when it was my turn I suddenly panicked, a ticket came out of the machine and I dint know where to put my money nyahahahha…there wasnt any slots, all that was there, was a card scanner for suica users and other kinds of card…grrrr >,<. I really looked stupid trying to insert my coins into the car slot lolzzzzzzzzzzz..Good thing there was this lola who helped me out and told me that we pay when we get off the bus, She pointed the box located near the drivers side and told me todrop the money there.the 2 ladies infront of me also told me to get the ticket and pay later at the front, they were really kind. Now heres the really really irritating and embarassing part of that trip, There were 2 filipinos ( a man and a woman with her baby ) who were sitting there and just watched me while I make a fool of myself amp!grrr…They din even try to help or anything, jeezzz…so much for helping your own kind, its probably just an idea i was raised to believe in.

Anyway I made it to the right tracks, took joban line going to ueno and got off nippori eki  for my norikae (train transfer) then got up the escalator  took the last stairs to the left and took the yamanote line going to shinjuku and got off takadanobaba eki ^^, it was quite an experience, the place was so busy and full of people hurrying to their destinations, and it was like a city full of college kids, everywhere I looked were students in their puberty age hahahahhaha, majority of people I saw there were students attending universities nearby. Since it was still early I went to mcdonalds for lunch, and slowly ate my meal, hehe. I took a photo of a mall beside the eki,  Look, they really mean it literally, it looked like a box just fallen from the sky hahaha this really cracked me up =)) Takadanobaba eki is located at the right side. I had my timing wrong taking this pic, this place is literally swarmed with people when a train stops and you’d really be surprised, too bad I wasnt patient enough to wait for the next train to stop hahaha.

I met Suenaga San around 2:00pm and we were suppose to wait for another pinay but we waited for about 45mins but turns out she’s a no show. We headed to the home and It was a really quiet place, there were lolos and lolas everywhere, I dunno but my heart really sank seeing them there, i just cant imagine leaving my mom in one of those places and visit her whenever I had time, its just heartless. Well, I know its much more heartless leaving your parents alone specially when they come to an age where they cant take care of themselves but hey,I cant deny that I’m a filipina and eventhough I dread to be one i still love the part where family really matters; well  for me my mommy really matters (hahaha). The interview started, all the owner had to say is can I come everyday? he gave the 4 shifting times and showed it to me, all i had to say was, as long as there’s a train running I can come, after filling up a biodata in japanese, he told me that he’d call Mr. Suenaga after the holidays ( its golden week and everybody’s busy spending their holidays). After that we headed our own ways I wanted to stroll around for a while but having just 5000yen with me would just torture me so I started heading back home. Dudung dint really explain to me how to get back but as ready as I am always i looked it up the net last two days ago so I already had an idea, its just the same but backwards hahaha.

I dint have a hard time  with the trains at all, I found it fun minus the nausea I feel everytime I’m inside someting that moves. I found my way back to the bus station and I had my episode again grrr >,<…i dint notice that there were 2 bus stops there, 4 and 5, I started to panic again hahaha…I dint know what to take grrrr, anyway I had no choice but to ask the bus driver if they would pass shobushono mae and he pointed me to the right bus w/c was at bus stop 4. The 3rd pic is the sked for bus #4 I just had to take a photo; it would be usefull someday, hehehe.

I was so exhausted when I finally came home, I slept for a couple of hours and woke up with dudung’s call.  He asked me if they’d (employer) shoulder my transportation, from what I understood was they’d shoulder 1000yen of my transpo but I’ll shoulder the rest. And when he saw the sched shiftings he noticed that it was impossible to make it on time to the earliest shift. I’m afraid I have to turn this down and look for another one. This is sad, I really liked the place >,<.

The Little Mermaid

April 21, 2009

At last, I wasnt loosing my mind after all, When I saw disney’s version of the little mermaid (ariel) back in the 90’s it kinda confused me with something else. I knew I ‘ve seen the little mermaid before but from what I remembered it didnt turn out well for the mermaid at all, I remember my lola, she didnt want me to watch it eventhough it was a cartoon, she knew I’d be devastated with the story and I’d cry at sad endings, heck I even cried watching Dumbo; when I saw the scene where they kept Dumbo’s mom in a cage and dumbo went to see her, the scene where Dumbo’s mom cradled him using her trunk kept me weeping through out the film.

Anyway back to the little mermaid, It was already late at night and if I remembered correctly the little mermaid  was aired on TV. I was Up at our doble deck and I had a peek on the televison and ended up watching the whole thing. I dint cry at all, I dint want to get busted and kneel on salt for staying up late like that (LOL!) but it sure gave me nightmares for not crying it out ( hahaha! ). I really thought of that story and wished it had a different ending. As I went on my childhood I eventually forgot about the sad story, then The Little Mermaid (arial’s edition) came out and somehow I wasnt quite convinced with the new story. The old version came rushing to me and how that story really ended and it still pinches my heart ; but since it was years back when I saw it, I wasnt even sure if I did really see it, I started questioning myself and  wondered if I made that sad version of the story up HAHAHA. I even asked friends with my same age if they’ve seen the first version where the mermaid dies but no one seemed to know what I was talking about,  I had doubts about myself after and thought I was just imagining stories ~~~grrrrr X(.

But hey, turns out I wasnt a nut case after all hahaha….Thanx to youtube! I watched the film all over again and now I can peacefully say, ” I knew it, I wasnt loosing my mind after all :p! ” Heres the film for those who haven’t seen it…Enjoy :D

April 10, 2009

This was my dinner a while ago, My mom cooked this so often when we were all still in the Philippines. Cooking wasnt my thing before, all I did was eat whats being served, The only time I got interested cooking was when I wanted to impress my boyfriend when I was in college LOL! Unfortunately I dint have the chance to cook for him because~~~ well….hmmm.. I cant really remember why hahaha, anyway  thats how I became interested and my mom taught me everything she new from there on.

There’s just one thing though, this giniling thing have diffrent versions, like what you see here, its the string beans version, theres also the patatas version, and the toge version nyahaha, there was these onetime I saw my mom cooked it with cabbage and I really dint like that one, I felt like a rabbit eating it LOL! Now that I’m having my life separate from my mom’s dudung asked me what the dish was, and I dint have a clue what it was called NYAHAHHAHA…Then he started calling it barabara coz with the looks of it eh talaga namang parang ginulogulo sha nung niluto hehehe.

Can someone please tell me…Anong Luto ba ito? LOL!

Maruetsu

April 6, 2009

I felt like going out so I did. I went to the grocery and spent the 5,000 yen dudung gave me the other day. I’ve been really craving for the kaldereta in peachy’s videos and I decided to cook one for myself since aabutin ako ng years cguro paghinintay ko pa samahan ako sa grocery ni dudung amf….Anyway, malayo ang maruetsu but its worth the walk; well at least yung papunta lang don hahaha.

I went out past 6pm and sayang hindi ko nadala ang camera ko, ang sarap maglakad sa labas and see the peacefullness outside. The sun was already about to set and the trees that looked like sakura tress pero hinde can really calm you down (not that i was I was going mental or something but yes the trees did calm me lelz.). Aylavet :D .

When I reached the supermarket I went straight for the meat stand, I was suppose to  buy beef but ended up buying chicken and giniling na beef instead amf.  There was a recorder saying that it was 3 for 1000yen, pork, chicken but I din quite understand which ones were it, haha kakainis amf, anyway I bought the rest of the ingredients in my list but dint buy the green peas; I cant find the cooked ones and I dint understand if the one I saw was just the ordinary one or a diffrent kind nyahaha so I decided to dedma it nalang LOL! After that I went to the counter and paid. I thought the money I had wasnt enough, aba sosyal may sukli pa akez lelz!

After bagging my groceries, I noticed there were stores around so I checked it out, as in checked it out lang tlga, dati I never check out things and go out empty handed but now grabe ha pigil ito! There was a second floor so I went up and there were clothes, shoes etc.. . Then there was Daison, Its a shop where they sell cute things worth 100yen :p nyahaha at last nabili ko na ang coin  can na kinukulit kulit ko amp I’m defenitly going back when I get bored ulet. Then there was this cute bubuyog sunglasses they sold for 990yen and with the sukli a while ago to spare tumagal ako don because I wanted to buy 5 but I only had budget for 1 LOL! After narrowing the choices to 2 I finally decided to buy the first one I picked when I saw the stand hahaha.

When I finally left maruetsu it was already past 7pm and it was dark.

Lets save Mother Earth!

O sya enough of this, pramis gawi ko ng hobby and pag bitbit ng digicam. And ang mga pics, yes alam ko, oily ako LOL! Need powder nyahahaha :p

Eto last nalang pala, I saw the movie Tada Kimi Wo Aishiteru yesterday huhu nakaka-touch. Lalo na this part, oha naiyak akez lelz:

Ang sad amp! Anyway it was still worth the watch. Just click on the link sa taas kung san may link pakihanap nalang ahehehe…Apir!

Ayan finish na ang kalderetang chicken, dedma na sa presentation chorva dahil gutum na akez :p

Women 30years over

April 5, 2009

I saw this on my facebook posted by my cuzin Tony.  It made me smile  :D

For women turning 30yrs over…

Mabuhay tayo :p

THIS HAS BEEN WRITTEN BY A MAN..

This is for all you girls 30 years and over…. and for those who are
turning 30, and for those who are scared of moving into their 30’s…AND
for guys who are scared of girls over 30!!!!… This was written by Andy
Rooney from CBS 60 Minutes.

Andy Rooney says:

As I grow in age, I value women who are over 30 most of all. Here are
just a few reasons why:

A woman over 30 will never wake you in the middle of the night to ask,
“What are you thinking?” She doesn’t care what you think.

If a woman over 30 doesn’t want to watch the game, she doesn’t sit
around whining about it. She does something she wants to do. And, it’s
usually something more interesting.

A woman over 30 knows herself well enough to be assured in who she is,
what she is, what she wants and from whom. Few women past the age of 30
give a damn what you might think about her or what she’s doing.

Women over 30 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you
at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if
you deserve it, they won’t hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can
get away with it.

Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what
it’s like to be unappreciated.

A woman over 30 has the self-assurance to introduce you to her women
friends. A younger woman with a man will often ignore even her best
friend because she doesn’t trust the guy with other women. Women over 30
couldn’t care less if you’re attracted to her friends because she knows
her friends won’t betray her.

Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a
woman over 30. They Always Know.

A woman over 30 looks good wearing bright red lipstick. This is not true
of younger women.

Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 30 is far sexier than
her younger counterpart.

Older women are forthright and honest. They’ll tell you right off if you
are a Jerk if you are acting like one! You don’t ever have to wonder
where you stand with her.

Yes, we praise women over 30 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately,
it’s not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed hot woman
of 30+, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of
himself with some 22-year-old waitress

Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, “Why buy the cow when
you can get the milk for free”. Here’s an update for you.

Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage, why? Because women realize
it’s not worth buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage!

Happy Place :D

April 3, 2009

Happy Place - This is mangki’s new word of the moment. An escape from the chaotic world of anything you usually do. A prolem free, stress free and wrinkle free environment :D .

I just recently finished leveling my 2nd account Yecko in tantra. I thought stressful na ung experiece nung Diyana palang ang server sa leveling spots but grabe I was slapped in d face wrong LOL! Parang xp nag x10 ata ang stress level and I just cant quit on leveling just because of that, I was a couple of levels away from maxing Yecko’s level! So with the combination of good friends, repelling orbs and blue orbs we did a little leveling on our own which costs us 5x the normal sessions in an ordinary repelling party. Anyway it was worth it. Kaso andaming lumayas nung mga lasts days and naging bc ang mga sked nila so I had no choice but to go with the mano mano south byulnak leveling spot and natapos din sa wakas.

Anyway, nahagard ako ng husto and I stopped muna for a while, and found our new hapi place hahaha. May silbi din pala ang facebook andits applications. Salamat sa play fish for this.

PET SOCIETY:

yes nakakaaliw yan, 2d palang yan, pano na pag 3d pa sha hahahaha…and the new one they just released

Restaurant City:

mas nakakatuwa to slight because your workers move on their own and you can see how busy your restaurant gets as it levels hahaha. Watching them makes me feel relaxed somehow and mejo naging calm ang pananaw ko sa buhay not like when I go online in Tantra na talaga naman halos gusto mo patayin ang mga pasaway isa isa ampepe talaga it really gets in your nerves nyahahaha.

Shot from the outside :D 4/4/09

Aylavet :D
